The Cardiovascular and Gastrointestinal Innovative Medicine (iMed) function is an integrated department. Our current research areas are Diabetes, Obesity, Diabetic Nephropathy, Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease and Arrhythmia. We can offer a strong science base and recognised expertise across all disciplines in our focus areas.

We have capabilities in translational science, coupled with a strong record of designing and executing clinical programmes. We also have state-of-the-art small molecule and biologics capabilities in the iMed.

Committed to using innovative drug delivery systems and driving patient segmentation in our clinical work, we have a culture that is focused on identifying, evaluating, capturing and developing external science and project opportunities.
